The In-Home Use Test+ (iHUT+) is a unique, yet cost effective tool to test your products, but with an innovative edge. As you may expect from an iHUT, real consumers evaluate your products at home, conveniently, when and where they feel like it. Like in real life, your product is evaluated at the appropriate use occasion, in the optimal setting. The iHUT+ employs online Questionnaires. Individualized per participant, these questionnaires are easily activated from an email hyperlink and run in a web browser. New is that participants are prompted to evaluate your products while… their facial expressions are being analysed in parallel!

Innovative edge

The iHUT employs online Questionnaires. Individualized per participant, these questionnaires are easily activated from an email hyperlink and run in a web browser. Thus, participants are prompted to evaluate your products while… their facial expressions are being analysed. Facial expressions are assessed using the newly developed FaceReader Online analysis engine that is robust for facial occlusion and eating behaviour.

Trials are paced by EyeQuestion online questionnaires, optimized for each study. Subjects' questionnaire responses are collected in sync with the registration of facial expressions.

Of course, subjects are informed on the method of research, and they can only proceed with a test after they gave informed consent. Depending on your preferences, studies may consist of a single evaluation or prolonged usage periods.
